We don't really go outside on the bad days. Which means lately, we don't really go out. Except for necessities, that is.

But most people seem not to take this very seriously, especially those who grew up when this went from a minor seasonal annoyance (a few bad weeks each spring) to a constant crisis. (I wonder what the public health effects will be decades from now.)

Also, free bus/subway won't fix this, will it? Isn't the main issue industry & old, polluting coal-burning power plants? Can't blame China alone anymore, NASA ended that. Understandably few trust nuclear to be run properly. So what's the solution? Nobody seems to know. :(
