@KateSherrod ... of the dictatorship credited with all the benefits of that "Miracle on the Han." Which, like the monster, absolutely consumed human lives at a rampant rate. Not sure it's an intended resonance, but it wouldn't surprise me. But, yeah, it's all in that paper I linked. :)

@KateSherrod Except the horn, mind: I never really noticed the image on the sign until you pointed it out. :) Like SEK pointed out so long ago (ah, I miss him) images in film are hyperdetermined: someone thought about that detail, you can be sure of it.
