        @JustinHowe I remember many things, including taking one of the counselors out to the middle of the lake, and... wait, I'm not supposed to talk about that, right? Seriously, though, I don't remember discussing The Lady in Black.

      @JustinHowe Or, for that matter, the toy soldier, really. The moment right after the toy soldier, though... that made me hyperventilate. It was this brilliant sort of, low-level creepiness but nothing too shocking, and then OHMYGODICAN'TBREATHETHERESHEISAAAACK! Really effective.

    @JustinHowe (As opposed to jump scares that ramp up to... another jump scare and a sort of maybe scary thing, which is what most "scary" movies now seem to do, and which leaves me cold.) Maybe the toy soldier fell into the vortex of the moment when you see here there. I still shudder at it.

      @JustinHowe Aaand... you succeeded in getting me rewatch "that scene." So, yeah, now I remember the toy soldier. Gaaah. But I'll probably forget it again by next week, because I'm totally creeped out again.
