@themarkrussell Well, since the Yangyang Highway opened in 2009, I'm not surprised the Rest Stop Facilities are nice. But the ones I've been in (one on the way to Jeonju from Seoul by bus, another while driving up to Cheonan) were pretty much like how I remembered them from the old days.On twitter.com

@themarkrussell And 20 years ago is longer than I would even remember: I'm comparing the places I saw more recently to places from 2010–2013. But, as I say, maybe it's regional underdevelopment. (Now I'm envious of these apparently nice rest-stops elsewhere.)Permalink On twitter.com
