Oh, hey, happy New Year. In January, a couple of Appendix K posts—inspiration for gaming in a Korea-inspired fantasy milieu—were published! The first is about modern Korean music that could work to set mood or inspire you: hallofadventures.com/musical-resources-modern-korean-music/Permalink On twitter.com

The second is a discussion of the film The King and the Clown, and the look it provides at Korea's traditional entertainers, for those who like having bards in their fantasy games, or are interested in courtly intrigues involving them: hallofadventures.com/the-king-and-the-clown/Permalink On twitter.com

Another Appendix K post is up now! This one is of the very bloody mystery/investigation film BLOOD RAIN (혈의누, 2005) directed by Dae-Seung Kim, which reminded me a little of The Name of the Rose, but in Joseon-era Korea. hallofadventures.com/blood-rain/On twitter.com
