Wow, so... other than the ending needing a rewrite, that's an 8500 word new story. Sort of M.R. James, if he'd written stories about 21st century travel, Neanderthal sorcery, and the horrors of a bad marriage. It's rough, but... interesting, for just a couple of afternoons' work.On twitter.com
