@mcjulie With the possible exception of people with serious, serious disabilities or mental problems. Or some psychopaths. Of course, a lot of people experience their own emotions & drives as if they were that way, because they aren't grownups (despite adult bodies).Permalink On twitter.com

@mcjulie The degree to which this is enabled in everyone, but especially in older men, varies from culture to culture. Where I live, the average middle-aged man gets excused as if his drives and emotions were out of his control. Highway driving=tempests of unrestrained emotional weather.On twitter.com
