Men don't ALWAYS have to be center stage in discussions of abuse. When we discuss child abuse, wives/moms don't elbow in, shouting, "But wives are abused too!" But you're an outlier in your gender, whereas for women it's unfortunately an epidemic problem. Also, not really what the OP was talking about, which was men getting scary when women "reject" them.
