@EQDCommenter @The1stpanda @PeteLawler @_ElizabethMay @HeatherAntos Yeah, no. *Of course* men occasionally get abused by women they reject. THE REASON MEN DON'T TALK ABOUT IT NEARLY AS MUCH IS BECAUSE IT'S VANISHINGLY RARE IN COMPARISON TO HOW OFTEN IT HAPPENS TO WOMEN BY EVERY MEANINGFUL MEASURE.

@EQDCommenter @The1stpanda @PeteLawler @_ElizabethMay @HeatherAntos MRA assholes like to cherrypick flimsy evidence to the contrary: hence the "meaningful measure." You know, measures that distinguish between, "She shouted angrily at me," and "He gave me a concussion," or between, "She slapped me once," and "He hits me everytime he gets mad."

@EQDCommenter @The1stpanda @PeteLawler @_ElizabethMay @HeatherAntos My "not once" is anecdotal, but come on, how come every woman I know has a story, and none of the men I know has one? My male friends don't have eggshell egos. They'd talk (to me) about if it'd happened. It's just much rarer for men to be victimized the way @_ElizabethMay means.

@EQDCommenter @The1stpanda @PeteLawler @_ElizabethMay @HeatherAntos MRAs love to cite men's unwillingness to report incidents. Yeah, well, lots of women don't report incidents too. And I'll add, not even MRAs try to argue that men who turn women down face regularly frightening, horrible responses. (They're usually bemoaning their lack of dates.)
