Love how M.R. James starts "The Treasure of Abbot Thomas" with almost a full page of Latin, and then has the narrator comment, "I suppose I shall have to translate this," and a little bit later provides a verbatim translation. Couldn't do that today; made me laugh out loud.On twitter.com
