I always want to point this out, but I hold back because rampant xenophobia and misogyny ago hand in hand, so instead of hearing what a "foreigner" says, they'll just accuse me of "unfairness" or "racism" or "cultural ignorance."On twitter.com

It was heartening to get an email a few days ago from a female student who talked about how hard it is to discuss discrimination, feminism, and minority issues as a woman on our campus.
