      @ArchivistsAlley @JustinHowe Yeah, I mean, at least on Amazon (and sites like Abebooks) I think at least some of it is people setting up automated pricing with screwed up settings or rules, etc.: youtube.com/watch?v=_i5Bio4pQSM (But occasionally the seller really is setting a crazy price for something.)

    @ArchivistsAlley @JustinHowe I did once email a seller and ask, "Hey, is this price an accident? It seems unrealistic," and the seller replied that he does indeed sell one copy a year of that book at the crazy, inflated price, and storing it cost him nothing, so it was worth it to him to do so. *shrug*

      @ArchivistsAlley @JustinHowe (And in this case, who knows. The venn diagram of often drunk/high + rich + tasteless enough to want that album might somehow justify pricing it that way.) Well, and I guess they'd need not to know about Ebay: ebay.com/c/30605185
