      @JohnKucek2 @DanSvensson77 @DrKittyGirl The solution is that you have students do projects that progressively demonstrate understanding and ability to apply what they've learned. Like, five or six along the way, and they get a grade based on what they can successfully master by the end of the course.

    @JohnKucek2 @DanSvensson77 @DrKittyGirl It might shock you but memorizing temporarily is EASIER than internalizing and mastering and being able to apply. It's a worse measure than specific, practical demonstrations of understanding are. And exams are artificial demonstrations. Why not switch to less artificial ones?
