      @DierkingJakob @ChuckWendig A lot of the world didn’t grown up with Star Wars... in the rural S. Korean cinema where I saw Episode 3 (ugh), a lot of the audience seemed genuinely shocked that the boy hero became a horrifying rebreather dude in a black freak suit. Kids were crying, parents baffled.

    @DierkingJakob @ChuckWendig Meanwhile, people here have known of the Marvel films since the start, and most of my ink students watch almost nothing but superhero films (at least, out of the stuff coming out of Hollywood).
