      @erinbiba I'm told when I left Canada, the word "smoothie" (as in the drink) existed but was just less common; its use *exploded* during the years I've spent abroad. I hate the word with a passion. (Brings to mind an unwholesome intersection of liquidity, greasiness, and bowel movements.)
