    @mcjulie Oh, wow, that's awful. It messed up my fiend, but there were *lots* of things that messed her up. Last I heard she'd lost her kids to social services for being addicted to heroin (or ???), and this was in Saskatoon, where that's almost unheard of. We weren't in touch by then.

      @mcjulie messed up my "friend" rather. She was kind of fiendish, at that point, though. Keying cars and screaming at former friends. I think she's pulled her life back together, but I haven't really gotten in touch again. Not much point, I don't think. (Our friendship ended badly, so...)
