        @mythopoetica What *did* come to mind is a certain novel which I happened to have in hand when I arrived for a blind date. She asked me how it was. I said, "Eh, I'm not blown away..." but not listening, she wrote down the title, promising to read it ASAP. I took this as a bad sign. (It was.)
